Highlights of Nippon Paint's Asia Young Designer Award (AYDA) Competition

Nippon Paint Asia Young Designer Award (AYDA) was introduced in 2008 to provide an opportunity to young designers across 13 countries. Asia Young Designer Competition provides a platform to architecture and interior design students to develop their skills through cross-learning opportunities and networking. 

We help students across 13 countries namely Bangladesh, China and region of China (Hong Kong & Taiwan), India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam to participate in the competition.
 
Highlights of AYDA :

1. The Regional Learning Programme:

  • Our renowned architects and interior designers provide best guidance
  • All the finalists from across 13 country gathers for the Asia Young Designer of the Year Award
  • Judges for the competition are comprised of professional architects, designers and associations across Asia
  • Study tours to renowned architectural cultural attractions
2. AYDA XChange

The platform helps in exchanging of design ideas for captains of the architecture and interior design industry. It also features notable alumni of the Award who were past winners to promote the exchange of ideas whilst building their design career.

Nippon paint young designer award  has established a close-knit design community comprising professional architects, interior designers, industry associations, partners, design schools, alumni and design students.
