The Asia Young Designer Award was first launched in 2008. Nippon Paint’s aim was to provide a platform for young Architectural and Interior Design students. & give them a chance to hear from renowned speakers.
This way Architectural and Interior Design students will develop their skills through collaborative learning opportunities and associate with key industry leaders.
Every year, AYDA provide an opportunity for young design talents to learn and experience intensive studio work, lectures, workshops and field trips.

What are we looking for in the Interior Design Category?
Your end-product needs to be practical and socially-driven with a clear vision to deliver positive impact for the end-users you have in mind.
Theme of the Year: Human-Centred Design
Project Category: Open category
Participants Requirement: Diploma Year 2 students and onward
Project Layout Size: Less than 10,000 sq ft
Submission Limit: 1 Project ONLY
Submission Requirements:
-Title and Theme Concept
-Design Concept Statement
-Presentation Boards (A2 Size)
-Photographs
-Labelling the Presentation Boards
-Colours
Submission Process: All completed entries must be submitted by October 9 2020.
